Following its very successful conference in 2009, Virtual Riders is hosting a day of information and training in Computers and Communications. This year we are lucky enough to have a range of local, regional and national experts who will be providing information on how different technologies can help your organisation. You’ll be able to try things out, see how they work and talk to experts. With a free buffet lunch it will be an interesting and exciting day for everyone.
Places are limited (max of two people per organisation) so
book as soon as possible online or
download details and a form.
Workshops and Surgeries - FREEVirtual Riders is holding a series of free IT workshops (for the voluntary sector) starting at the end of June. Anyone in the voluntary and community sector can attend and you can book online (to avoid disappointment) or phone (0845 337 2949) to confirm a place. However you can just turn up on the day as well. Sessions run at different times during the day.
Click here for a full list of dates and times. What is involvedEach workshop will have a theme, but any subjects can be brought to the workshop and individual time will be given to solve problems which if relevant can be shared with the group.
The range of topics and questions is huge, but don't worry as we will have an answer of some kind for you on the day. Also, remember that different people have different ideas as to what is hard and what is easy. so don't worry about bringing what you think is trivial to the workshop. It's quite likely that someone else has that same issue.
